History
E.E. URD Design and Manufacturing was founded in early 1975 by Lawrence Sultan. Those early beginnings were based primarily upon PCB and electronic assemblies, designed and imported from Taiwan, something not too many companies were doing at the time. We recognized early the benefits of obtaining and cultivating relationships with overseas manufacturing companies. In fact E.E. URD was the original manufacturer and importer of the electronics that went into the GE/Child Guidance “Show and Tell” from 1978-1982; over 500,000 pcs were sold during that time. We since relocated our organization to Southern California in 1982.

Philosophy
E.E. URD Design and Manufacturing has evolved into a highly dynamic and aggressive corporation. Our key philosophy is one of explicit two-way communications, dynamic strategy, and perseverance. We insist upon keeping our clients intimately informed regarding the intricacies that play out in any design or manufacturing project from design to delivery we listen to and work with our clients closely to help them meet their objectives professionally.

Our factories and partners are meticulously selected for their quality and product capabilities, reputations, and adherence to details and specifications; through our in-person plant inspections, QC audits, and constant open and direct dialogue, we ensure your products will arrive properly as designed and sample approved.
